For myITforum'ers: 20% off of ConfigMgr 2007 (and more) training at LearnITStuff.com

Dear valued LearnSystemCenter.com (and LearnITStuff.com) customer,

We would like to take a moment to introduce ourselves, and to inform you of some exciting changes that are taking place on LearnSystemCenter.com.

First, we would like to thank Chris Urban for his contributions and his dedication to the LearnSystemCenter website and to its customers. He is an extremely talented individual, and we wish him the best of luck at Microsoft and any future endeavors. This website is a testament to his talent and dedication.

learnITstuff.com (part of Champion Technology Group) has purchased the “learn” websites from Chris Urban and has incorporated them into learnITstuff.com. learnITstuff.com is a video-based training website that is modeled after what Mr. Urban has created with his “learn” sites. Content will be broken up into “channels”. System Center Operations Manager and System Center Configuration Manager will become two of the channels available on www.learnITstuff.com.

We are very excited to have talented trainers on board. Our quest is to find the best contributors in each area we train. Our belief is that the best contributors are people who have a very strong mix of business acumen, real world experience, and the ability to tell you not only how to get the job done, but why it is done a certain way.

Our goal is to grow the existing content, and add a wealth of new channels to the lineup. Over the next six months, expect to see new channels such as:

Active Directory 2008

SharePoint 2007

Exchange 2007

SQL 2005

VMWare

Linux

Microsoft Office 2007

We have some of the best talent in the respective topics on board, and they are already developing content for these new channels. Within the next two to three months, expect to see announcements that these channels are going live.

Our one year goal is to have all of the channels listed above 100% live, and even more new content in development. New channels on target for the 6-12 month timeframe are:

Windows Server 2008

            File and Print

            IIS

            Group Policy

            Additional System Center Products

            Data Protection Manager

            Service Manager

            System Center Essentials

Live Communication Server

Cisco

Citrix

Microsoft SoftGrid

Business Desktop Deployment

Scripting (With VB and PowerShell)

Vista (Professional and Home)

ISA

NetApp storage products

Symantec Enterprise Vault

And more…..

This will be an exciting year for our industry. The introduction of many new products such as Configuration Manager and Operations Manager, and new versions or updates to many of our old favorites such as Windows Server 2008, Exchange, and SharePoint.

We thank you for giving us the time to introduce ourselves and  our talented trainers. We feel confident that you will find our video-based training the best in the industry, and  thank you for letting us help you learnITstuff.
