I really think that patches are difficult for people to understand. I wrote an article on what the different switches are and I think it is still confusing to some. There is a post in the forums where there is some confusion. When you go through the DSUW it's all easy to read, but when you go and look at the command line after, what does it all mean? Almost every patch package has at least 5 switches! Each check mark box you select in the DSUW can possibly create a switch. Stay tuned, because I am going to write an article that explains word for word what switch is created when you select an option in the DSUW.
